Bjorn Kumpers, born in 96’, resides in Cape Town, South Africa. The beauty of his hometown, coupled with his passion for photography, has inspired him to create a unique style of work. His artwork focuses on his love for the ocean and coastal activities, capturing distinctive landscapes and the people drawn to them.
Bjorn’s desire to create and share his photographs with the world, as well as to incorporate them into living spaces, led to the establishment of his brand, AVIO Images. Here, his artwork and apparel demonstrate how his camera is a constant companion on his travels.

(Meaning ONLY five of these prints will ever be made) A photograph taken while hanging from the open door of a helicopter overlooking Schaapen Island, situated in the West Coast National Park, South Africa. Since access to the island was banned, marine life and bird life has improved, and it is now a protected bird sanctuary home to many ibis and kelp gulls, who are joined in flight by the thousands of kite surfers that visit this renowned area in the summer months. 5% of proceeds will be donated to BirdLife South Africa, an organization working to conserve birds, their habitats, and biodiversity through scientifically grounded programs and responsible environmental stewardship. A meaningful addition to collections focused on aerial seascapes, wildlife conservation, or limited edition photography that supports ecological causes.
