Maya
Born and raised in Southern California, Adam Franzino is one of fashion’s rising photographers. Upon moving to New York in 2005 to pursue his photography career, he began working with some of the industry’s leading photographers. Although fashion photography is Adam’s first love, he is also dedicated to humanitarianism. He has worked with Donna Karan and President Clinton on “Hope for Haiti,” a project that showcases local Haitian artists in order to improve their living and working conditions. Adam now splits his time between Los Angeles and New York shooting for a variety of advertising and editorial clients.

This image was captured at Casa Gilardi in Mexico City, the last residential project designed by world-renowned architect Luis Barragán. Known for his mastery of light, shadow, and spatial rhythm, Barragán created spaces that were both sculptural and meditative—qualities echoed in this exact composition.
